Anti-Trafficking Workshops THIS AUGUST!
Our freedom in Christ compels us to work for the freedom of others. At SoulFest 2010 our worship will be taken to action as we unite to free the orphan, the widow, the poor and the most oppressed in our world. That's why SoulFest has partnered with the Not For Sale Campaign to end modern-day slavery. At SoulFest 2010 you'll have countless opportunities to engage in the modern Abolitionist movement, including a special three-day Abolitionist Academy focused on slave-labor in the global market.
The Not For Sale three-day Academy at SoulFest will explore how our purchasing patterns and the complexity of the global market perpetuate slave labor in our supply chains. Attendees will gain an understanding of the causes of labor trafficking, both globally and in their own backyards. They'll learn what companies can do to end slavery and how they, as a consumer, can effect change with every purchase they make. Join us for the Not For Sale Academy at SoulFest. Become engaged, educated and equipped as a modern-day Abolitionist.
