LOGOFF WEEKEND OVERVIEW

The mission of InterVarsity's NYCUP is to develop leaders with the character and capacity to change the world. Our LOGOFF Movement gives practical steps to every day world-changing transforming consumers to stewards as God intended.

Over our LOGOFF Weekend we will cover our 5 core values:

  • Whole-Life Stewardship
  • Spiritual Formation
  • Biblical Justice
  • Evangelism
  • Leadership Development

Here is a brief preview of our weekend.

On Friday afternoon, students will arrive at our housing site and immediately leave for a teaching on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its necessity to be shared. We will then share a meal in Elmhurst, Queens before being led in worship and prayer by Courtney Wong through our Teach Us How to Pray curriculum.

On Saturday, we will rise for breakfast and bible study before joining a food distribution in Washington Heights for a special FEED 500. Afterwards, we will debrief and after a break we will start our LOGOFF Workshop.

Following our workshop we will break for a scavenger hunt, Chipotle Party and free night in NYC!

On Sunday, we will meet again for our breakfast and bible study and then head to New Life Fellowship for morning worship. Afterwards, we will have lunch and then if weather permits a retreat of silence in Central Park. That evening we will share dinner and then there will be a final teaching on how to practice justice long-term.
