John 1: 43-46.  Philip, due in part, no doubt, to the faith of his friend’s Andrew and Simon, gives a bold message to Nathaniel.  Undaunted by Nathaniel’s skepticism, Philip invites, “Come and See.” Pray that true friendships would develop, bonds would form and walls would come down. Pray that friend would bring friend, brother bring brother.  Pray for bold words of truth to be spoken in love.

September 2: Pray that people would receive what they need...

Acts 2.  “…they were cut to the heart…3,000 men…day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”  Peter, newly filled with the promised Spirit, leverages an opportunity to tell the gospel, give a very bold sermon to a crowd of religious pilgrims.

September 1 - Pray for the Faith of the Centurion

a
Jonathan Urbana 09

Luke 7: 1-10.  The healing of the Centurion’s servant.  The Centurion was part of the occupying army—an occupying army is not well liked by the locals; a soldier from an occupying army often looks down at the locals.  But something’s different here.  The Centurion has faith in Jesus to heal—where did he learn this from?!  Pray that our works of mercy, our love for each other and our welcoming of the stranger would draw people to Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5: 14a  “For the love of Christ compels me…”  Pray that God would enlarge our hearts with His love which would drive away all fear so thatwe can look outward to love our neighbors and share the Love of Christ.

Would you pray with us today?

August 30 - Pray for "Road to Damascus" Experiences

Pray for mystical, powerful, “Damascus Road” encounters for decriers of Christianity and for those who are skeptical that God is even real.  Pray that they would be blown over by God’s Love.  Pray for a renewed hope amongst believers of God’s mighty power to save.
